• The electrode assignment are as follows:
- Program 1/2/3 & 4 are assigned to electrode No1, Program 5/6/7 & 8 are
assigned to electrode No 2.
• When Lamp test is selected, Lamp test activates the following outputs
- Timer control ready
- Timer control fault
- Weld fault
- Tip dress request 1
- Tip dress request 2
- Tip life Warning/Exp 1
- Tip life Warning/Exp 2
- UI-regulation active
• With cooling fan supply on X4/13-14
- "Fan On ", if cooler temperature is > = 55 º C
- "Fan Off ", if cooler temperature is < = 40 º C
• The fault: "External 24V is missing" stop is automatically confirmed.
• A check of the pressure feedback at the end of the squeeze time is
selectable.
• The mains voltage is always checked, the error message: Synchronization
fault, is self acknowledging.
• The gun is expected in retract open position when the weld control is
switched on.
At first the retract close signal is necessary to assure a defined gun position
and to avoid the program start with magnet valve closing in retract open
position of the gun which would be dangerous for the process.
• The gun delay times T_delay and T_delay_schedule, which are mentioned
in the folowing diagrams are programable.
• Spot counter (weld on)
The output "spot counter (weld on) is set after a weld schedule without any
error, but with weld on. The output will be set as long as the start input is
set, but at least for the programmed "WC period time".
• Monitoring of external temperature inputs
The inputs "Gun 1 External temperature" and "Gun 2 External
Temperature" will only be monitored if the input "External weld on" is set
and at least one of the start inputs (Gun 1_Start, Gun 2_Start) is set.
In this case, the error message "External Over-Temperature" will be set if
one of the inputs "Gun 1_External Temperature" or "Gun 2_External
Temperature" is set to 0.
