4. KITEAUFBAU
a) Set-Komponenten
JN Kite Back Pack:
Der angenehm zu tragende, leichte Rucksack
macht das Verstauen und Tragen des kompletten
Kites möglich. Da der Wild Thing II keine Segel-
latten in den Tips hat, und durch die High-Infl ati-
on-Tips stabilisiert wird, ist ein sehr kleines Pack-
maß möglich, wenn du die Luft aus allen Struts
auslässt. Zusatzfächer erleichtern das Verstauen
von Kleinteilen. Die Tasche ist so groß, dass Du
sogar 2 Kites verstauen kannst, wenn Du sie klein
zusammenpackst. Snow- oder Kiteboard oder
Quick Bag kann bequem aufgeschnallt werden. So
kannst du dein ganzes Material auf einmal trans-
portieren. In der Tasche befi nden sich zwei klei-
nere Taschen. Eine für das Verstauen der Pumpe
und eine für die Bar. Der Boden der Tasche ist mit
wasserabweisendem Material verstärkt.
JN Quick Compression Bag (QC Bag):
Eignet sich für den schnellen Transport, wenn Du
die Quertubes aufgeblasen lassen möchtest. So
wird der zusammengerollte Kite mit aufgeblase-
nen Quertubes beim Hineinschieben automatisch
komprimiert. Der QC-Bag kann zum Transport auf
den Kite Back Pack geschnallt werden oder am
Haltegriff getragen werden. Das Paket zeichnet
sich durch seine kompakte Form aus und dein Kite
ist optimal geschützt. Der JN Kite Back Pack wird
frei für andere Ausrüstungsgegenstände.
b) Kontrollsystem (Bar)
Das JN CBS 3+1 Version 2007 ist ein Kontrollsys-
tem für 5-Leinen Kites. Beim Kauf wird das Control
Bar System im Standardsetup zusammengebaut.

Das JN CBS 3+1 System ermöglicht dem Fahrer,
den Zug des Kites zu verändern, wenn er sich mit
dem Trapez in den Depowerloop einhängt. Der
Fahrer kann die Bar einfach vom Körper wegschie-
ben, um die Zugkraft des Kites zu reduzieren. Du
kannst die Zugkraft des Kites mit dem Clam Cleat
Depower-Adjuster genau einstellen. Überprüfe die
Leinenlängen deines komplett zusammengebauten
CBS 3+1 vor dem Starten des Kites. Lies dazu die
Anweisungen im CBS 3+1 Manual.
c) Aufblasen des Kites
Alle Luftkammern der Quertubes (Struts) besitzen
ein Rückschlagventil, welches beim Auslassen
mittels Einführen eines Plastikstiftes deaktiviert
werden kann. Stift zum Packen des Kites wieder
herausziehen, da sonst das Rückschlagventil un-
dicht werden kann. Sollte das Ventil beim Aufbla-
sen blockiert sein, so kann es mit Hilfe des Stiftes
gelöst werden. Die Leading Edge Tube besitzt 2

a) Set Components
JN Kite Backpack:
The big and easy-to-carry backpack makes pa-
cking and carrying an entire kite very comfortable.
Since the Wild Thing II doesn't have carbon bat-
tens but high infl ation tips, its packing volume is
drastically reduced. Additional pockets provide
space for other accessories. The backpack is big
enough to hold 2 kites if they are packed tightly.
The snow- or kiteboard can be tied to the backpack
with two large straps. This way, you can carry all of
your gear in one.
There are two smaller pockets inside the back-
pack, one for the pump and one for the bar. The
backpack's bottom is made of water repellent
materials.
JN Quick Compression Bag (QC Bag):
Ideal for quick transportation if you want to leave
the struts infl ated - roll up your kite and have it
automatically packed to its smallest possible size
when putting it into the Quick Compression Bag.
The JN Quick Compression Bag can be carried by
its handle or strapped to the kite backpack, which,
in turn, you can use to carry other accessories.
b) Control System
The JN CBS 3+1 Version 2007 is a control system
for 5-line kites. At purchase, the Control Bar Sys-
tem has a standard set up. For further information
please read the CBS 3+1 manual.
The JN CBS allows the rider to interactively control
the power of the kite when hooked to the depower
loop with the harness. When hooked to the de-
power loop, the rider can simply push the control
bar from the body to reduce the power of the kite.
You can fi ne-tune the power of the kite with the
Clam Cleat Adjuster. Your kite should be tuned so
that the Kite is fully sheeted in (but not over-sheet-
ed) with parallel kite tips.
Check the length of your lines when your CBS 3+1
is fully assembled.

c) Infl ating your Kite
All strut bladders are fi tted with non-return valves.
To defl ate, simply use the defl ation pin on each
valve (make sure you remove the defl ation pins
before packing up your kite in order to avoid dam-
aging the valves). In case the valve is blocked
when you infl ate the kite it can be unblocked with
the pin. The Leading Edge features two 2-way
valves for quicker defl ation. The strut tubes need
slightly higher air pressure than the Leading Edge
tube. Be careful to not over-infl ate your kite.
