Removing the exhaust cover
DANGER
High voltages when connecting to the
mains power
Danger to life due to high voltage.
Disconnect from the power supply.

Make sure the unit is disconnected
n
from the power.

The unit is switched off and voltage-
free.
1. Remove the exhaust cover by un-
screwing the exhaust cover and pulling
it upwards and away [
>>
The exhaust cover has been success-
fully removed.
Setting up the Combi-Duo and the top unit

The bottom unit is placed on a stand
with feet or castors or an auto levelling
kit.
a
The top side of the bottom unit is
clean and free of grease.
a
The exhaust cover has been removed.
a
The electrical compartment is closed.
1. Loosen the screws from the lid of the
bottom unit.

Important:
The number of screws varies de-
pending on the unit sizes

6-1/1 and 10-1/1: 5 screws (1).
6-2/1 and 10-2/1: 7 screws (2).
2. Place the Combi-Duo base frame on
top of the bottom unit. Align the frame
so that the closed, right-hand side
panel of the frame is flush with the
right unit wall [

Attach the Combi-Duo base frame
with the screws [
Important:
The number of screws varies de-
pending on the unit sizes.
6-1/1 and 10-1/1: 5 screws (1).
6-2/1 and 10-2/1: 7 screws (2).
3. Remove the rubber seal around the
unit feet edges of the top unit.
4. Place the top unit carefully on the
Combi-Duo base frame [
5. Position the base of the top unit on the
trim of the Combi-Duo base frame.
Make sure that the side panels of the
base frame are not damaged.

Carefully slide the top unit from the
front left to the back (1) and then to
the right into the free corner of the
frame (2). Make sure that the rest
angle of the top unit locks into the
slot of the frame, each on the rear
right in the corner and from left in
the corner [
>
Important: Check that the engaging
edges are straight.
6. Put the front panel in place slightly di-
agonally on the front left. The top
sheet edge of the front panel can be
pushed underneath into the housing
frame of the top unit [
7. Push the front panel to the right. Slide
the L-bracket with the openings over
the two cap nuts [
>
Mount the front panel on the left on
the two stud bolts with two cap
nuts.
8. Adjust the door of the bottom unit if
necessary. Use the recess in the
Combi-Duo frame for this.
