Updating the OS and Resources
Introduction
The procedure described in this document allows you to in-
stall the operating system and the original musical resourc-
es in the instrument's internal memory, by loading the OS
and Resources file from an USB storage device.
The most up-to-date version of the OS and Resources file
can be downloaded from our web site (www.korg.com).
Note: By loading the new operating system, you also load
all the features added by the previous updates.
Note: Loading this file may take up to forty minutes. Please
do not turn the instrument off before the loading operation
has been completed!
Making a safety copy of your data
Loading this file will modify your Factory and User data, so
please make a safety copy of your data before proceeding.
Warning: Please don't use the
tion to save your User data, nor the
tion after loading the operating system, because restoring
the older data would overwrite the newer one.
