Components in Detail: Mandrels / Stoppers
Mounting on Bending Plate
Necessary parts:
2x carriage bolts M5x50
2x washers 5/10
2x knurled nuts M5 12/10
Fasten all pieces with 2 screws for adequate
stability.
All bending mandrels and stoppers are de-
signed for tube diameters of 12 or 13 mm
and 16 mm. The necessary guidance is always
aligned downwards.

Fitting Stopper
Stopper with set insertion depth:
6 mm for tubes with 13 or 12 mm Ø
11 mm for tubes with 16 mm Ø
Depth is shown with a marking
The insertion depth is based on the connection depth for Alphacool Hard-Tube
connectors, so this measurement does not need to be added when calculating
dimensions. If you are not using Alphacool connectors, use the straight mandrel
with stylus stopper (page 42) or calculate the difference using your connectors.
