It is switched on and off with a separate
switch, such as a three-step switch.
During system operation in combination with
the EDR supply air box, the air volumes are
synchronised. The ECR supply air box
automatically adopts the speed level setting
on the ECR-A. It is not permitted to control
the speed by reducing the voltage or using
phase angles.
The unit is fitted with thermal motor overload
protection.

ensured during operation with air-
ventilated fireplaces. The maximum
permitted pressure difference per living unit
is 4 Pa.

General safety instructions
● Read the safety instructions through care-

● Installation is only permitted when carried
out by trained specialists.
● Electrical connections and repairs only
permitted when carried out by trained
specialists.
● Only connect the unit to a permanent
electrical installation.
– Permitted cable cross section: 1.5 mm²
– Mains isolation device required with
contact openings of at least 3 mm at each
pole.
● The fan unit may only be operated using
the voltage and frequency shown on the
rating plate.
● Modifications and alterations to the unit are
not permitted and release Maico from any
guarantee obligations and liability.
● Only operate the unit when it is completely
installed.
● Ensure that foreign bodies cannot fall into
or be sucked into the unit and ventilation
duct.
● With free inlet and outlet, never install
without a protective grille, e.g. the Maico
SG.. protective grille.

● For ventilation or air extraction in offices,
business and commercial premises,
showrooms, storage rooms or day rooms,
restaurants, manufacturing and
workplaces, doctors practices, etc.
● For surface mounting indoors.
● Can be fitted in ventilation ducts in any
position.
● Can be used in combination with ECR
supply air fan or on its own.
● Clean air and air with a low grease or dust
content is approved for transport.
