 Fit suitable folded spiral-seams ducts and
secure with flexible cuffs.
 Make sure that the ventilation ducts are not
twisted during installation.
Electrical connection
Danger to life from electric
shock!
 Switch the mains fuse off.
DANGER
 Position a warning notice to
avoid the unit being
accidentally switched back on.
Danger of short-circuits
through incorrect feeding of
the power cable into the

terminal box.
 Feed the power cable
correctly through the cable
screw-connections and make
sure there is cable tension
relief.
Notes

● The cabling between the power and the
terminal box must be permanent.
● The ECR supply air box automatically
adopts the speed level setting on the
ECR-A. It is not permitted to control the
speed by reducing the voltage or using
phase angles.
● Remove the terminal box cover and take
out loose components.
 Make a hole in the terminal box at one of
the breakout points.
 Fit the cable screw-connections.
 Insert the power cable into the terminal box
such that the cable screw-connections fit
tightly round the power cable.
Danger of short-circuits
caused by damp if the power
cable is not inserted correctly.
CAUTION
 Insert the power cable
correctly.

 Connect the power cable to the terminal
box according to the wiring diagram in
Chapter 14 (page 18, 19 and 20).
 Install the supplied tension relief.
 Close the terminal box.
Danger of short-circuits
caused by pulling the power
cable out.
CAUTION
 Secure the power cable with
the tension relief.

Notes
● 4 speed levels can be switched directly
with 230 V rated voltage.
● The lowest speed is controlled using termi-
nal 1, and the highest using terminal 4.
● 3 of the 4 possible speed levels are
controlled in combination with the ECR
supply air box. The other terminal is not
used. During system operation, the air
volumes are synchronised. The ECR
supply air box automatically adopts the
speed level setting on the ECR-A.
Start-up
 Before start-up, ensure that there are no
objects, small parts, dirt, etc., in the
ventilation ducts.
 Check that the technical data has been
adhered to by referring to the rating plate.
 Ensure that the air can flow unhindered.
 Carry out a function test. Check that the
impeller runs quietly.
