Charge the rechargeable battery

The rechargeable battery can be charged in 3 different ways:
•
Quick charging via mains connection
•
Quick charge via external battery charger for firehouse (accessory)
•
Charge retention on fire-fighting vehicle from 24 volt Mag Code con-
nector
It is recommended to use the quick charge via mains connection cable
for the rechargeable battery.

The rechargeable battery must be fully charged before startup.
►
Only use original rechargeable battery and charger.
The battery may only be charged via 1 variant.
Parallel charging via several variants at the same time is forbidden.
Quick charging via mains connection
The battery does not have to be taken out of the support for the charg-
ing process.
The high performance fan can be operated during the charging pro-
cess.
Charge time is about 5 h.

Actuate Main switch switch, to engage the high performance fan.

Connect high performance fan to the power supply via the mains con-
nection.
The charging process starts automatically.
The Charge control pilot lamp on the LCS operation panel illumi-
nates.
After the charging process has completed the charger automati-
cally switches to charge retention.
Battery is fully charged.
Quick charge via external battery charger
The battery does have to be taken out of the support for the charging
process.
Charge time is about 5 h.

Push handle bar 90° upwards.
Battery unlocks automatically.
►
Pull battery out of the support on the base frame.
►
Transport battery on the handle bar.
►
Connect the battery with the external battery charger via the Connec-
tion port battery.
The charging process starts automatically.
