 Only use the pump to pump permissible fluids.
 Use an additional prefilter for dirty (sandy) water.
 Do not connect the pumps in series.
 Do not connect the pump directly to the tap.
 Do not use bayonet connection systems (GK couplings).
Installation
 If the pump is delivered with a pressure tank, connect it to the pump according to the
enclosed instructions.
 Ensure that the pressure in the pressure tank is 3.5 bar.
 If the pump is already connected to a water supply, open all tapping points to ensure
that the system is depressurised.
 Connect the pump according the operating instructions.
 Ensure that all screw connections are air-tight.
 Fill the pump with water using the filling nozzle until it overflows.
 Ensure the correct seating of the prefilter (see section "Maintenance and Care").
 Tighten the lid by hand until it is air-tight.
 Check all connections for leaks.
 Vent pump:
1 Open and close all tapping points in the water system once to ensure that there is no
more air in the pipes.
2 Completely open the existing stop valves, and/or ensure that there is sufficient water
in the suction container.
3 Switch the pump on in continuous operation (switch setting "I/On").
4 Allow the pump to run for several minutes until it pumps uniformly and there is no more
air in the system.
The pump is now ready for operation.
If there are faults on the suction side (LED for faults on the suction side lights up):
 Remove the check valve from the suction hose.
A check valve integrated in the pump offers sufficient protection.
 Carefully go through the installation steps again.
If there are faults on the pressure side (fault on the pressure side lights up):
 Carefully go through the installation steps again.
Prerequisites for operation
 Do not fit a check valve on the suction side directly upstream
of the pump.
The distance between the pump and a check valve should be
at least 3 m.
