Water tank
It is recommended to empty the water tank after each use. Wash it with soap and water, rinse
it and dry it thoroughly before putting it back in the unit. The water tank can be washed in the
dishwasher.
Product housing
- Use a soft, dampened cloth to clean the outer part of the device.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads as they could cause damage to the product's
surface.
Warning
Do not immerse the device in water.
Descaling
- Mineral deposits built up in the unit might affect the machine's operating. An increase
in the brewing time of a coffee or the appearance of excessive steam are signs that the
machine requires descaling.
- The descaling process should be carried out from time to time, depending on the hardness
of the water used.

Descaling the water tank
1. Fill the tank with 50 % vinegar and 50 % water.
Leave it overnight with the solution.

3. Remove the tank from the device and discard the water with the vinegar.
4. Fill the tank with water and rinse it thoroughly. Repeat this step 2 times.
Descaling the inside
1. Carry out the descaling process of the water tank as explained above.
2. Turn off the power switch, make sure that all icon lights are off and disconnect the power
cord from the mains socket.
Fill the tank with vinegar above the "min." mark.

4. Insert the portafilter with the filter (without coffee) and place a large glass or jug under it.
5. Plug the device into a power supply.
6. Press the power switch and, once the icon lights have stopped blinking, press the "Double
Espresso" button for 3 seconds. The vinegar will start to flow through the unit, and once
it is done, stop automatically.
