Please follow the steps below to store your device
after each use and at the end of the season:
• Clean the tiller as described in the previous section.
• Inspect the blades and sharpen them, if necessary
(see the beginning of the "Maintenance" section).
• Grease and lubricate the various moving parts.

Possible causes
The plug is not plugged in

The socket is not properly engaged

Bolts, nuts or other items are loose.
The blades are damaged
Working depth too great
Fibers or an external element making it
difficult for the wheels to turn
Working depth too low
Worn cutters
• Store the power tool in a cool, dry place out of the
reach of children.
Avoid storing it near corrosive substances, such as
fertilizers, thinners or fuels.
• Do not cover your machine with a waterproof
tarpaulin; by condensation, the retained humidity
may damage the metal and electronic components
of your motor hoe.
• At the end of the season, in addition to the previous
instructions, it is essential to protect your
machine from frost and humidity. You can fold the
different parts of the handle, by loosening the
fasteners.
Solution
Plug in the socket
Replace switch
Test with a new extension cord
• Check the connections between the socket,
the extension and the hoe
• The working depth is too great, reduce it
• The cutters are blocked by one or more foreign
bodies, remove it(them)
• The ground is too hard, move back and forth
slowly, in order to improve performance
Wait 15 minutes for the motor to cool down
before using the machine again.
Switch off and wait for all elements to shut
down. Remove the blocking elements.
Refer to the Maintenance / Transmission
section, to fill the box.
Check all screws and fasteners, then retighten
them.
Straighten/sharpen the blades before starting
again, if the vibration persists, replace the cutter
Review the working depth by pressing less
firmly
Check that each wheel spins freely, and clear
any items that may be in the way
Hold the device more firmly to dig deeper. You
can also rotate from left to right to facilitate the
work.
Sharpen the blades, or replace them.
