Electrical Safety
The mains supply voltage must
correspond to that indicated on the
nameplate (230 V~50 Hz). Do not use
other energy sources.
It is recommended to fit a safety
circuit breaker on the power supply
circuit whose nominal tripping threshold
is between 10 and 30 mA. Consult a
reliable electrician.
Never pass the device over the
power extension to avoid cutting the
cable. Make sure you are always aware
of the location of the cable.
To connect the extension, use a
special support.
Never use this cultivator in rainy
weather. Protect it from splashing water
and prevent exposure to moisture.
Never leave this appliance outdoors
overnight. Refrain from cutting damp or
wet grass.
Regularly check the condition of the
power supply cable and make sure
before use that there is no damage or
excessive aging. If the condition of the
cultivator's power cable leaves
something to be desired, refrain from
using it; it is preferable
take it to an approved service centre.
Use only an extension cord designed
for outdoor use. Keep it away from the
cutting area, damp, wet or oily
surfaces, sharp edges or fuels and heat
sources.
The mobile socket of the extension
cord must be splashproof in
accordance with DIN 57282 and VDE
0282 standards; the section of the
cable (max. length 75 m) must be equal
or greater than 1.5 mm2. Use a
harmonized H07RN-F cable.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF
ELECTRIC EXTENSION CORDS
Make sure the extension cord is in
good condition. When using an
extension cord, be sure to use an
extension cord that is strong enough to
carry the current required by your
machine. An extension cord of
insufficient power will cause a drop in
voltage and, consequently, loss of
power and overheating.
Check that your extension cord is
properly connected and in good
condition. Always replace a damaged
extension cord or have it repaired by a
qualified person before using it.
Protect your extension cords from
sharp objects, excessive heat and wet
areas.
Before connecting the motor to the
power line, make sure that the switch is
in the OFF position and that the electric
current is of the same intensity as that
indicated on the nameplate of the
motor. Operation at a lower voltage will
damage the motor
This tool must be grounded when in
use to protect
the operator against electric shocks.

Make sure that no other people are
near the work area!
Before checking whether the electric
cable is damaged,
or before cleaning the hoe, unplug the
hoe!
Always keep the cables well away
from the control system

V Never lift or transport the electric hoe,

working !
V Before starting the hoe, and for safety
reasons, make sure you leave enough
space between your feet and the
blades of the machine.
