Before any use
Before any use, be sure to remove all
foreign bodies present on the floors to
be worked; also be aware of the
presence of such objects during use.
Only work in daylight or a sufficiently
powerful artificial source.
Protective goggles and a dust mask
or face shield must be worn when used
in dusty conditions.
Appropriate attire is required. The
following clothing must be worn when
using this device:
Wearing rubber gloves and work
shoes is recommended
.Cover your hair to protect it and
contain long hair.
Avoid wearing loose clothing and/or
jewelry that could be caught by rotating
tines.
Proper use
It is the user of this cultivator who is
responsible for third parties present.
Do not use this device near buried
pipes, drains, telephone lines or
electrical cables.
Before connecting the plug to a
mains power socket, make sure that
this power supply is compatible and
that it complies with the values
mentioned on the
the grower's identification label.
The use of this device is only
authorized if you comply with the safety
distance indicated by the guide bar.
Do not use this machine on too steep
a slope to ensure safe operation. When
approaching slopes, slow down and
make sure you have good support.
Before starting the device, make sure
that its teeth are not in contact with any
foreign body and that they are not
obstructed.
Firmly grasp the guide bar with both
hands. Never use this device with one
hand. Be aware that this unit may
unexpectedly bounce or spring forward
if its tines strike frozen, compacted or
extremely hard ground or buried
obstacles such as large rocks, roots or
stumps .
Make sure that no clothing or upper
or lower limbs lie near the rotating tines.
Attention ! Risk of personal injury!
Only lead this cultivator at a walk.
Never stretch your arms too far. Make
sure you have good support and
balance at all times.
Be aware of the presence of the
extension cord during operation. Be
careful not to trip over the power cord.
Always route the power cable away
from the cultivator tines.
If the device strikes a foreign object,
examine it for any damage and make
the necessary repairs before restarting
and continuing work.
If the cultivator begins to vibrate
abnormally, immediately turn off the
motor and investigate the cause of the
problem. The manifestation of
vibrations usually announces
problems.
To move the device from one location
to another, grasp the guide bar and lift
the device.
Before carrying out maintenance or
cleaning operations, switch off the
appliance, disconnect the power plug
and wait until it has come to a complete
stop. Attention ! Cultivator tines do not
immediately stop rotating
after it is turned off.
Use caution when cleaning this
device or performing maintenance.
HAZARD ! Watch your hands! Put on a
pair of gloves!
It is forbidden to move or modify any
electrical or mechanical safety device.
