• In motor vehicles, radio signals may interfere with functions if electronic systems in
motor vehicles and other vehicles have not been properly installed or have not been
adequately shielded. If you notice such faults, contact the manufacturer of your
vehicle, a specialist workshop or the manufacturer of the components susceptible
to faults and find out about their susceptibility to interference.
 CAUTION
• Never open the housing of the emergency wristband or charger by yourself. The
housings should only be opened by authorised specialists when inspecting for faults
and defects. If your device has a fault or defect, please contact beurer Customer
Services.
NOTICE
• The emergency wristband uses 2G mobile phone technology. This means that its
function cannot be guaranteed in remote areas and in cellars, garages, etc. (de-
pends on the reception).
• Only use the charger and mains plug supplied to charge the battery. The use of ex-
ternal accessories may result in the battery not being charged correctly or in faults.
• The emergency wristband is protected against temporary immersion in water, but
we advise you not to wear the emergency wristband when swimming or bathing and
we advise against keeping it under water.
• Keep the emergency wristband away from chemicals such as soaps, shampoos,
sun cream, conditioners, lotions and perfumes.
Notes on handling batteries
 WARNING
• If your skin or eyes come into contact with fluid from a battery cell, wash the affected
area with water and seek medical assistance.
• Protect batteries from excessive heat.
• Risk of explosion! Never throw batteries into a fire.
• Do not disassemble, split or crush the batteries.
 CAUTION
• Protect batteries from excessive heat.
• Batteries must not be short-circuited.
• Only use chargers specified in the instructions for use.
• Batteries must be charged correctly prior to use. The instructions from the manufac-
turer and the specifications in these instructions for use regarding correct charging
must be observed at all times.
• Fully charge the battery at least every 3 months.
• Fully charge the battery prior to initial use.
