formatted. The temperature is displayed on the vertical
axis and the time on the horizontal axis. The two horizon-
tal lines that can be seen after starting the recording of a
heating curve, show the permissible range of temperature,
± 2 °C. Yellow vertical lines show the start and end of the
heating process. The timer starts as soon as the tempera-
ture has reached the programmed value ± 2 °C.
The „Open" button is used to call up temperature curves
that have previously been saved. When a saved file is
opened, the „Off-line mode" is initiated. In order to conti-
nue the measurements and to close the opened heating
curve, this option must be deactivated.
After selecting the „Report" button, a recorded heating cur-
ve can be edited (input of details, e.g. title, commentaries,
etc.). When the „Report" button is pressed, the NANOCO-
T-Set software creates a protocol of the recorded

heating curve together with all information that has been
input, which can then be saved and/or printed.

3.5 Test

After completing the run of a test program, the test data
measured by the NANOCOLOR T-Set and saved in the
®
heating block, can be read out, displayed and edited.
At the completion of a test, information can be entered in
the entry boxes (date of the test, number of the NANO-
COLOR T-Set, the certificate number applicable and the
®
date of issue). In the „Notes box", any notes that may be
relevant can be entered.
Note:
If the heating block does not contain any data or the in-
formation has already been entered, it is not possible to
input any data or amend any existing data (the fields are
greyed). The input of data or any modification is possible,
only after a new test run has been completed.
The temperature table is divided into two columns. In the
„nominal" column, all temperatures are listed that have
been programmed in the heating block. The „actual" co-
lumn shows the temperatures last measured with the
