3 T-Set Software

3.1 Installation

Insert the NANOCOLOR
your computer. The Start menu is displayed on the screen.
Alternatively, the installation can be started via the Win-
dows Explorer.
Select the language preferred, then the function „Install
NANOCOLOR
shown on the screen. By default, the NANOCOLOR
T-Set software is copied to the folder C:\Program\MACHE-
REY_NAGEL\T-Set Software. It is recommended to retain
this as the target folder. An icon is automatically created
on the screen. An installation on another drive does not
usually result in any malfunction.

3.2 Program Start

Connect the heating block to the computer using the se-
rial null-modem cable (Cat. No. 919 680). Switch on the
heating block. Start the NANOCOLOR
clicking the icon shown on the screen. The heating block
connected, is automatically recognised by the software. In
the top area of the start window, a menu bar is displayed
(File, Setup, Help) together with 4 buttons for the various
functions in the NANOCOLOR
„Test", „Calibration" and „Settings".

3.3 Menu

File
The only option available in the File menu, is „Exit". If this
item is selected, the program is ended and the window
is closed. The closing of the window has no effect on the
processes that are on-going in a heating block that may
be connected.
