Full Face Mask

the dIvAtor full face mask is available in four versions:
Black natural rubber
gray natural rubber
Black silicone
yellow silicone
All dIvAtor full face masks are available with an optional dIvAtor hatch.
for additional information see dIvAtor hAtch user manual.
the dIvAtor full face mask is available in either natural or silicone rubber. natural
rubber is more resistant to chemicals and more tear resistant. silicone is more resistant
to ozone, thermal and ultra violet light radiation. the silicone mask is slightly smaller
and may fit smaller faces better.
The rubber head harness has five straps that are tightened and locked by stainless
steel buckles. the wide and soft sealing edge of the mask is pressed lightly against
the face and follows the contours of the face, giving an effective seal. the mask is
designed to be used with underwater communication equipment.

breathing valve

the dIvAtor Breathing valve is available in three versions:
primary with safety pressure
primary without safety pressure
secondary (octopus) without safety pressure
the primary breathing valves are available in either black or gray. the secondary
breathing valve (octopus) is available in black with a yellow shield ring.
the primary breathing valves are mounted to the face mask with a bayonet coupling.
the breathing valves are demand breathing valves, supplying air only during
inhalation.
the dIvAtor Breathing valves are balanced and maintain extremely low breathing
resistance at all diving depths even if variations occur in the secondary pressure.
The breathing valve is also designed as a safety valve for the first stage regulator. If
the secondary pressure from the first stage regulator increases to between 13-17 bar
(189-247 psi), the relief valve in the breathing valve will open. this prevents over-
pressurization of the system.
As an additional safety feature, in the inhalation channel there is a one-way valve to
prevent water from penetrating into the valve mechanism where it could freeze and
cause the valve to stick in the open position.
The DIVATOR Secondary Breathing Valve (Octopus) is fitted with a lever in order to
avoid free flow of air. However it does not have safety pressure.
