1
Nail the slanted wall inserts to the wooden formwork
using the nail holes (in the mounting frame) from one
side.
► If the formwork is made of steel, then attach the
slanted wall inserts to the reinforcement with tie wire.
2
Close the formwork (see Fig.: 3).
• Do not pour fresh concrete directly onto the
slanted wall inserts.
• With coarse grain types > 16 mm, it may be
necessary to use a fine-grain follow-up mix in
the implementation area.
3
Concrete in the slanted wall inserts (see Fig.: 4).
4
Compact the concrete around and in between the
slanted wall inserts carefully and layer-wise with a
concrete vibrator (blowholes must be avoided) (see
Fig.: 5).
• Do not touch the slanted wall inserts with the
concrete vibrator during compacting!
• The free fall height of the concrete may not
exceed 1 m so as to prevent separations in the
area of the conduit systems and wall base
points.
• If the free fall height is exceeded, a fall cush-
ion made of concrete is to be provided at least
30 cm high with 8 mm maximum grain size
(also called follow-up mix).
• The individual layers should be limited to a
maximum of 50 cm and compressed using the
internal vibrator.
• The uppermost concreting layer in walls
should always be re-pressed.
5
After curing of concrete remove the formwork and
styrofoam wedges (see Fig.: 6).
7 Mounting HSI90, HSI150 S_° K2 (Slanted
double wall insert)
Observe installation position and alignment ac-
cording to planning!
The minimum clearance of ≥ 10 cm between the
slanted wall inserts must be observed (see Fig.:
6).
A gap of at least 5 cm is to be observed between
three-ribbed seals and iron rein-forcements. The
tie wire may not be attached to the three-ribbed
seals.
