7 DISTURBANCES
7.1 SAFETY REGULATIONS
Maintenance and repair work may only be done by authorised persons.
Switch the unit off before repair and secure against being advertently
switched on again, e.g. by "pulling the plug".
All work must be done under observation of the safety regulations
described in chapter 1.
Always use original spares or replacement parts.

8 REPAIRS

Reason/Cause
• Felt strip is worn out and must
be replaced.
• Possibly main fuse has cutout.
• Fuse has tripped
• Contact problem.
• Plug oxidised
• Inscribing tool not clean.
Solution
Exchange felt. In case of a
stronger current, the fuse could
have cut-out. The fuse
can be exchanged by flipping
up the black lid (15) on the rear
of the unit.
• Replace main fuse (8)
• Renew cable
• Dismantle hand-held head and
clean
