5.3 SWITCHING OFF THE UNIT

• Switch the unit off at the main switch (15) and remove the plug
from the mains
• remove all accessories
• clean all parts. See chapter 6.2 Maintenance

6 MAINTENANCE

6.1 SAFETY REGULATIONS

Maintenance may only be carried out by an authorised person. Switch off
the unit before beginning maintenance and secure against inadvertently
switching on again e.g. by „pulling the plug". All work must be done under
observance of the safety regulations described in chapter 1.
6.2 MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION LISTE

6.2.1 General remarks

Do not use cleansing agents, metal scrubbers or compressed air. Dust and
sticky residues should be removed using the plastic scraper.

Each day and • Check the unit for damages and defects.
before use • Check the head for wear and tear.
If necessary replace the head and felt.
After use Clean stencils, heads, cable and stainless
steel workplate.
Clean stencils:
With clean water carefully between 2 fingers.
Clean head:
Unscrew the handle from the carbon head
and wash both in lots of water.
Clean the unit and the cable:
Wipe with a damp cloth.
Warnung
Take the hand-held tool to pieces after using and clean well.
The power supply could otherwise be disturbed.
