1 SAFETY REGULATIONS
1.1 Proper use
The machines have been designed purely for inscribing/marking metal
articles. Its function is only guaranteed when original parts are used.
Any other or any additional usage is considered to be improper use.
The manufacturer is not liable for any damages resulting from such
improper use.
The proper use also means:
• observing the operating instructions,
• observing the inspection and maintenance instructions.
• wearing protective clothing, especially gloves and goggles
1.2 TIPS AND EXPLANATION OF PHRASES
Warnung
A possibly dangerous situation which could lead to major
physical injury or even death.
Vorsicht
A possibly dangerous situation which could lead to minor phy-
sical injury.
This sign may also be used for warnings concerning major
damge to property
Information
Remarks on use and other useful information.
Component numbers are in brackets.
The dot marks actions and the dash marks list numbers.
The arrow shows when processes are carried out
automatically or, alternatively, the state the machine should
be in.
1.3 OBLIGATIONS AND LIABILITIES
1.3.1 Necessary qualification of unit users
The unit may only be used and maintained and inspections and assembly
work may only be carried out by authorised and qualified personnel.
Minimum age is 18. Authorised personnel are trained persons employed
by the operator (owner), the manufacturer and the service partner.
These people must:
• have received instruction in using the unit,
• have read and understood the operating instructions,
• be familiar with the safety equipment on the unit,
• be familiar with the relevant regulations
(especially accident prevention regulations),
• be authorised to deal with chemicals.
