Interference signals are audible. Operation is impaired or the display shows no clear
indication:
• The device is subject to interference from other devices with high interference emission (e.g.
mobile phones).
• The integrated microprocessor must be reset. Switch off the device, disconnect it form the
power supply and restore it after about 30 seconds.
• Reset the device to factory settings.
Radio reception is impaired or impossible:
• Extend the aerial (14) to its full length and try out different alignments.
• Set up the device elsewhere (as close to a window as possible).
• Check if DAB broadcasting is generally available in your area.
The DAB+ radio-adapter no longer reacts to key commands:
• The battery in the remote control is empty and needs to be replaced.
• The range of the remote control has been exceeded. Move the remote control closer to the
DAB+ radio adapter.
• The battery in the remote control is weak, which limits its range severely.

12. Handling

• Never plug the power plug into a mains socket immediately after the device has been taken
from a cold to a warm environment. The resulting condensation may destroy the device.
Allow the device to reach room temperature before connecting it. Wait until the condensation
has evaporated.
• Never plug in or unplug mains adapters when your hands are wet.
• Never disconnect mains adapters from the mains socket by pulling at the cable. Always pull it
out of the mains socket holding it by the contact surfaces provided for this purpose.
• Unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket if you do not use the device for some time.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the mains adapter from the mains socket in case of an
electrical storm.
