• If you use the Renkforce amplifier A-1000, connect the remote control input REMOTE SYSTEM TO AMP to
the corresponding control socket REMOTE SYSTEM TUNER at the amplifier. You can then remote-control
the tuner with the system remote control.
• Connect the enclosed cable aerial to the inner contact of the connection ANTENNA FM 75W. Align the
cable aerial for best reception.
For better reception, this socket can be connected to your household aerial or your cable con-
nection. Use an asymmetrical 75 Ohm aerial cable for this.
• Connect the sockets ANTENNA AM LOOP to the enclosed framework aerial. Align the AM frame aerial
for best reception. The AM-frame aerial can be suspended from the wall or set up on a level surface.
Place the aerial as far as possible away from interference sources (motors, mains lines, radio
systems, etc.).
b) Mains Connection
Before plugging in the mains plug, ensure that the device voltage indicated at the device cor-
responds to the available mains voltage. Do not connect the device if the indication does not
correspond to the available mains voltage. Wrong supply voltage will cause serious damage.
Be careful when handling mains cables and mains connections. Mains voltage may cause po-
tentially fatal electric shock.
The mains socket to which the device is connected must be easily accessible so that it can be
quickly separated from the mains voltage in case of an error.
The tuner and all connected devices must be switched off when the power supply is con-
nected.
Make sure that no cables lie around openly. Install cables professionally to prevent accidents.
Make sure that all electrical connections and connection cables between the different devices
and any extension cables comply with the regulations and the operating instructions. If an ex-
tension line is used, ensure that it is designed for the respective load.
• Connect the mains plug of the tuner to a socket (230 V/50 Hz) of the public mains supply.
