f) PTY Search
• Push the button PTY (9) to activate this function.
• Push the buttons TUNING (3) to select the desired programme type (see list described above).
• Press the PTY (9) button again to start scanning. The display PTY SEARCH appears in the display (2).
• The search now stops at the stations that send the desired programme type.
• If the display (2) shows NO PTY, this means that no station with the selected programme type can be
received.
• To prematurely interrupt PTY search, push the button PTY (9) again during scanning.
g) Control via the System Remote Control
Use the system remote control enclosed with the Renkforce amplifier A-1000 to comfortably control the
main function of the tuner and other devices of the Renkforce HiFi-series comfortably from your chair.
The remote control has the following buttons:
• BAND
This button switches the reception range between AM and FM reception (same function as BAND (6) at
the device).
• MEMO SCAN
This button samples the station saved on the station buttons and then switches on to the next station
memory.
• MEMO HOLD
This button stops the MEMO SCAN search. The last station memory sampled is played back permanently.
