LOOPER THREAD CONTROL
1. Set the cast-off edge of the looper take-up to
2.000" (51mm) from the outside of the looper
thread tape-up shaft.
2. Set the centerline of the take-up hole to 1.850"
(47mm) from the outside of the looper thread
take-up shaft.
3. Set the edge of the looper thread take-up so the
take-up eyelet is just free
when the take-up is at
the end of its stroke.
LOOPER THREAD TAKE-UP
SETTING
The looper threads should cast-off at the upper
dead center of the cam travel of the thread take-ups
when the tips of the needles are within .040" (1mm)
of the lower edge of the looper blades.
Increase the amount of the looper thread when
lengthening the stitch by raising the cast-off cam in
its slot. Recheck the cast-off setting.
GREIFERFADENKONTROLLE
1. Stellen Sie die Abzugskante des Greiferfaden-
abzugs zur Außenseite Greiferfadenabzugswelle
auf 51 mm ein.
2. Stellen Sie die Mitte der Abzugsöse bis Außen-
seite Greiferfadenabzugswelle auf 47 mm ein.
3. Stellen Sie die Kante des Greiferfadenabzugs
GREIFERFADENAUFNEHMER-
EINSTELLUNG
Die Greiferfäden sollen dann am oberen Totpunkt
der Kurve des Fadenaufnehmers „abspringen",
wenn die Spitzen der Nadeln innerhalb 1 mm ober-
halb der Unterkante der Greiferklingen stehen.
Sie vergrößern die Greiferfadenmenge - bei grö-
ßerer Stichlänge - duch Höherstellen des Faden-
aufnehmers in seinem Aufnahmeschlitz. Prüfen Sie
nochmals die Greiferfadenkontrolle.
