8.2.3 Real time errors
The real time errors are displayed with the help of LEDs:
Real time errors Possible cause
Nonius signal overdriven Air gap between sensor module and magnetic disc/
magnetic tape is too great.
Nonius signal too low The working range of the sensor module has been
exceeded or the magnetic disc/magnetic tape is
defective.
Master signal overdriven Air gap between sensor module and magnetic disc/
magnetic tape is too great.
Master signal too low The working range of the sensor module has been
exceeded or the magnetic disc/magnetic tape is
defective.
Plausibility error in period Plausibility check of the absolute signal fails or no
counter calibration performed.
ABZ frequency error Calibration failed, sensor module defective.
Frequency counter of the Calibration failed, sensor module defective.

Troubleshooting
► Check orientation of the sensor
module to the magnetic disk or
magnetic tape and/or repeat
calibration.
► Check supply voltage and/or
repeat calibration.
► Replace sensor module.
