■ Always operate the luminaire with two batteries of the same capacity
and similar state of charge.
■ Always change both batteries at the same time.
■ If you operate the luminaire with mains power, remove the batteries to
be on the safe side. The batteries are not charged in the luminaire and
could become very hot or damaged.
6.4 Disconnecting the power supply
NOTE - Switch off the luminaire after use and disconnect
the mains if you are not going to use it for a long time.
Operation via mains adapter
1.
Switch off the luminaire. To do this, move the on/off switch (8) to the
position [0].
2.
Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
3.
Pull the plug of the power supply unit out of the socket (5) on the back
of the luminaire.
Battery operation
1.
Switch off the luminaire. To do this, move the on/off switch (8) to the
position [0].
2.
Pull the batteries upwards out of the battery docks (11).

7.1 Using the LED luminaire
WARNING
Danger from heat, electricity or fire
The lamps get up to 70° C hot during operation, the housing up to
55° C. The luminaire can overheat (Icon
with the ventilation slots covered. In case of overheating or short-circuit,
the luminaire itself and flammable materials near the luminaire may start
to burn.
■ Do not cover the ventilation slots (11) during operation or when
cooling down.
■ Remove flammable materials from the immediate vicinity of the
luminaire.
