Among other things, a short circuit can be caused by defective cables,
moisture or wetness. In the event of a short circuit, the insulation or the
cable wire may melt. This can cause a fire or electric shock.
■ Only use the original cables supplied with the luminaire.
■ Only operate the luminaire in dry rooms and when outdoors, only
operate it in dry weather conditions.
■ Never allow the luminaire or the power supply unit to come into
contact with moisture or water. Do not touch it with wet hands
or feet.
■ If the luminaire falls, have it checked by a qualified electrician before
switching it on again.
■ If the luminaire has been damaged or is defective, or if you notice
a burning smell, do the following:
→ Immediately disconnect the power supply by pulling the mains
plug or removing the battery and do not use the luminaire again.
→ Do not open the luminaire.
→ Never repair the luminaire yourself. Only have the luminaire
repaired by a qualified electrician.

Using the glowstick in an explosive environment or with flammable
gases can cause life-threatening injuries or death.
■ Do not use the glow stick in an explosive environment or with
flammable gases.
