6.3 Power supply via rechargeable battery
WARNING
Risk of explosion or injury due to improperly used batteries.
Batteries can leak or explode if handled improperly.
■ Only use rechargeable batteries that are specified in these
instructions for use, see technical data.
■ Do not place batteries in a fire or expose them to direct heat.
■ Remove batteries if the luminaire is not to be used for a long time or
if the batteries are discharged.
■ If battery fluid comes into contact with skin or clothing,
rinse immediately with fresh water.
■ The batteries cannot be charged in the luminaire.
Use a suitable charger for this purpose.
■ Do not charge batteries unattended.
■ Disconnect the charger from the mains as soon as charging is
complete.

Switch off the luminaire. To do this, move the on/off switch (8) to the
position [0].

Remove the plug of the supplied power supply from the socket (5) on
the back of the luminaire.

Insert two sufficiently charged NP-F batteries from above into the two
battery sockets (11) of the luminaire.
→ A clear click indicates that they are securely in place.
4.
To switch on, tilt the on/off switch (8) to the position [I].
Recommendations for the use of rechargeable batteries:
■ Replace the batteries at the latest when the light of the luminaire
starts to flicker.
■ Switch off the luminaire with the appropriate switch before removing
the batteries.
■ Avoid deep discharge of your batteries and recharge them as
soon as possible. This will ensure the long-lasting functionality and
performance of your batteries.
