Safety
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if the ambient temperature exceeds
or falls below the specified temperature
range for a prolonged period. This can
then lead to an increase in temperature
inside the appliance.
■ Always ensure the prescribed ambi-
ent temperature is maintained (see
"Intended use" on page EN-4).
NOTICE
Fire hazard!
Improper handling of the appliance can
lead to fire and damage to property.
■ Connect the appliance only to a prop-
erly installed and earthed electric
socket.
■ Do not connect to a multi-socket ex-
tension cable or a multi-socket plug.
■ Do not position the appliance direct-
ly against the wall and adhere to the
minimum distances specified (see
"Installation" on page EN-23).
The thermal insulation and the interior
are scratch- and heat-sensitive and can
melt.
■ Do not use mechanical devices or oth-
er means to accelerate the defrost-
ing process, other than those recom-
mended by the manufacturer.

Fastening the appliance inadequately
can lead to injuries or damage to prop-
erty.
■ This appliance must be secured in ac-
cordance with the instructions for use
to avoid hazards resulting from inad-
equate stability.
Fire hazard!
Improper handling of the appliance can
lead to fire and damage to property.
■ In order to guarantee sufficient air
circulation, keep ventilation open-
ings, in the appliance enclosure or in
the built-in structure, clear of obstruc-
tion.
■ Observe the minimum measurements
of the built-in cabinet (see "Installing
the appliance" on page EN-24).

NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
If the cooling unit has been transport-
ed horizontally, lubricant from the com-
pressor may get into the cooling circuit.
■ If possible, only transport the appli-
ance in a vertical position.
■ Allow the refrigerating appliance to
stand upright for 2 hours before start-
up. The lubricant will flow back into
the compressor during this time.

Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to damage to property.
■ Do not pull or lift the appliance by its
doors or door handles.
■ Place the appliance only on a lev-
el and firm surface that can support
the weight of the appliance when it
is filled.
