Warranty and liability

Warranty and liability claims for personal injury and property dama-
ge are excluded if they can be attributed to one or more of the fol-
lowing causes:
ū Non-intended use
ū Failure to follow the instructions
ū Operation without functional safety/protective devices
ū Continued use in the event of a defect
ū Improper assembly, commissioning, operation and maintenance
ū Improperly performed repairs
ū Defects in the supply lines

Intended use

The stove is intended for indoor use only and may only be ope-
rated in closed rooms. The installation site and flue gas discharge
must comply with the technical and local specifications and regula-
tions! Any use other than that described in these instructions is con-
sidered improper and is not in accordance with the intended use.
Modifications, additions or conversions carried out without the writ-
ten consent of Olsberg can lead to damage and hazards. These are
not permitted and lead to the loss of warranty claims!

1.3 Safety instructions

Warning! Very serious personal injury, environmental
damage and damage to property due to explosion, fire and
fire hazard as well as heat exposure! Failure to observe will
result in immediate and serious bodily injury or death!
● Ensure sufficient distance between the stove (incl. exhaust duct)
and curtains, carpets, upholstered furniture and other combusti-
ble materials!
● Installation on and against combustible materials is not
permitted!
● Observe the specified minimum distances when installing and
using the stove!
● Never use flammable liquids such as petrol, petrol-like lamp oils,
paraffin, barbecue charcoal lighter, or similar liquids to start or
„reignite" a fire! And make sure that such liquids are kept at a suf-
ficient distance from the stove during operation!
● Do not use the stove if the door seals are damaged!
● Ensure safe operation, especially in adverse delivery pressure con-
ditions or bad weather conditions.
Caution! Risk of severe personal injury and/or environmen-
tal damage!
● Be aware that large parts of the stove's surfaces as well as handles,
operating levers or latches become very hot!
● Only touch these parts with suitable protection.
● Also make sure that you are not in the direct radiation area of the
stove or touching hot surfaces with your clothing.
● The stove may only be fired with permissible fuels that have been
certified to the type test.
● Instruct children or persons with reduced mental abilities in hand-
ling hot surfaces to avert the risk of burns!
● Dispose of the packaging remnants immediately! (Danger of cho-
king if swallowed by small children)!

● Observe the notes on maintenance!
● Clean the stove regularly and follow the cleaning instructions to
prevent damage or premature ageing of the stove!
