Blade travel adjustment
CAUTION! Remove power when making any adjustments. Failure to comply may result in serious
injury!
Tools required: 12mm and 13mm wrench.
The height of retract and depth of cut stop adjustments limit the upper and lower travel limits of the
saw blade. To make adjustments follow the steps below.
3. Height of retract-this is the upper travel limit of the saw blade when the trigger handles is
raised. Adjustment is made by setting the position of screw B (fig.3).
4. Depth of cut stop-this is the lower travel limit of the saw blade when the trigger handle is
brought down adjustment is made by setting the position of screw C (fig.3).
Blade guard adjustment
CAUTION! Remove power when making any adjustments. Failure to comply may result in serious
injury!
CAUTION! The saw blade must be in the lowest possible position for this adjustment.
When the saw head is lowed all the way, the blade should not be visible. If the blade is visible, the
blade guard (F, fig.3) needs to be adjusted as follows:
1. Loosen the two socket head cap screws (D, fig.3) just enough, so the bracket (E, fig.3) can be
adjusted.
4. Manually adjust the blade guard (F, fig.3).
5. Finally, tighten the two socket head cap screws (D, fig.3) firmly.
Changing the saw blade
CAUTION! Remove power when making any adjustments. Failure to comply may result in serious
injury!
Remove the saw blade as follows while referring to figure 4.
1. Remove the screw (A, fig.4) and cover plate (B, fig.4).
2. Remove the socket head cap screw (C, fig.4) that secures the bracket (D, fig.4) to the lower
blade guard (E, fig.4).
