Setting the bending angle - button P1

Pay attention to the correct positioning of the
•
workpieces on the bending disc. The following
must be taken into account (see illustration on
the left):
o Depending on the number of workpieces to
be processed, select the suitable stirrup head
(1, 2).
o Position the workpieces in the recess on the
stirrup head (1, 2).
o Check that a bending sleeve is fitted on the
bending pin (3).
o Workpieces should be placed in the recess
on the stirrup head - NOT alongside to it (4).
o Pay attention to the direction of rotation of
the bending disc (5, 6).
To adjust the bending angle, insert switch pin 1 (1)
•
into one of the outer boreholes of the bending
disc.
The closer switch pin 1 (1) is set to the measuring
•
sensor (2), the more the bending angle decreases;
conversely, the bending angle increases the fur-
ther switch pin 1 (1) is set away from the measur-
ing sensor.
Press the P1 button (3) on the control panel.
•
After operating the foot pedal, the bending disc
•
rotates until switch pin 1 (1) has reached the
measuring sensor.
