Statement for Domestic EEE, containing rechargeable and removable Batteries or Accumulators, in which the battery can be easily removed by the user.
Pursuant to art. 26 of Legislative Decree 14 March 2014, n. 49 "Implementation of Directive 2012/19/EU on electrical and electronic equipment waste (WEEE)"
and of Legislative Decree 188 of 20 November 2008. The 'crossed-out wheeled bin' symbol shown on the equipment or on its packaging indicates that the
product at the end of its useful life must be collected separately from other waste to allow adequate treatment and recycling. Remember that the batteries/
accumulators must be removed from the equipment before it is disposed of as waste. To remove the batteries/accumulators refer to the specific indications
provided in this manual.
The user must, therefore, freely supply the equipment and the battery that has reached the end of its life to the appropriate municipal centres for the separate
collection of electrical and electronic waste, or return it to the dealer in the following ways:
• portable batteries and small-sized equipment, that is, with at least one external side not exceeding 25 cm, free delivery without obligation to purchase at
stores with a sales area for electrical and electronic equipment greater than 400 m
• for equipment with dimensions greater than 25 cm, delivery is expected at all points of sale in 1 for 1 mode, meaning delivery to the retailer can only take
place when purchasing a new equivalent product, at the rate of one to one.
The proper separate waste collection for the subsequent set-up of the equipment and of the batteries/accumulators discarded for recycling, treatment and
environmentally compatible disposal, contributes to avoiding possible negative effects on the environment and health and promotes reuse and/or recycling
of the materials of which they are composed.
The abusive disposal of equipment, batteries and accumulators by the user entails the application of the penalties set out in current legislation.
INFORMATION TO USERS OF DOMESTIC EQUIPMENT
is envisaged. For smaller stores, this mode is optional
