Mechanical settings

Due to transport and wear of the transport rollers in the hopper area, readjustment of the banknote feed may be necessary. On
the top of the machine there is an adjusting screw that can easily be turned with a coin, key or screwdriver, thereby changing
the contact pressure on the banknotes.
Please note that even small changes to this adjusting screw can have an effect on the processing and feeding of the
banknotes. Therefore, proceed carefully in small steps.
If the CCE 3080 feeds not only one but also several banknotes, please turn the adjusting screw anticlockwise.
If the banknotes are fed into the machine poorly or at an angle, turn the adjusting screw clockwise.

Changing the fuse

The CCE 3080 is protected by a fuse that you can easily replace if necessary.
Before changing the fuse, please switch off the machine and disconnect the mains plug from the machine. There is a danger to
life due to electric shock if this is not done.
Pull off the cover of the fuse and replace the fuse with an equivalent fuse. The cover of the fuse must be firmly pressed back on
after replacement.

Cleaning the sensors

The banknotes and settling dust cause deposits in front of the machine's sensors. This contamination leads to increased sorting
and non-recognition of genuine banknotes.
Therefore, please clean the sensors of the CCE 3080 at regular intervals. When cleaning the machine, generally switch it off and
disconnect the mains plug. The CCE 3080 has a flap on the reverse side for easy and quick cleaning of the machine without
tools.
You can use a soft brush and cloth to remove coarse dust deposits from the sensors, including those in the hopper and stacker
area, and from the banknote conveyor wheels. For cleaning the counterfeit sensors we recommend the additional use of cleaning
cards for banknote counters (art. no. A007924) and a non-flammable compressed air spray (art. no. A007925) to remove dirt and
fine dust even from inaccessible places.
