Currency selection and counting variants
The CCE 3080 can count sorted and mixed (depending on the currency) banknotes. You can switch back and forth between the
counting variants using the "MODE" button. Use the "CUR" key to switch back and forth between the different currencies.
Currency selection:
Depending on the software installed, the CCE 3080 can process different currencies. You can manually select the installed
currencies using the CUR key. Please note that all currencies deviating from the selected one will be recognised as suspicious.
Selection of counting variants:
The CCE 3080 offers different counting variants or modes to optimally process the banknotes according to your requirements.
Below you will find an overview of the possibilities. Please note that not all of the options listed may be available for all currencies.
This always depends on the security features and dimensions of the different denominations within a currency.
The counting mode is selected by pressing the MODE button. The selected mode is shown in the display.
Mixed value counting / unsorted notes (Display: Mix)
In this counting mode you can count unsorted and sorted banknotes by value and get the number of counted banknotes (PCS for
Pieces) and the value of the detected notes in the display. By pressing the REP key you can display a detailed report of the counted
banknotes, showing you how many notes of which denomination were contained in the mixed stack. The total sum is also
displayed in the report. The PRINT key can be used to transfer the data to an optionally connected thermal printer.
Piece counting / sorted notes (Display: Sort)
With this counting variant only sorted banknotes can be processed. The display shows the number (PCS) and the value of the
banknotes counted. The machine stops as soon as a note is detected that differs in value from the first note in the stack. This
allows you to search larger quantities of the same banknotes, especially for lower denominations, and to record the total quantity
of banknotes.
Free-Count (Display: Count)
In Free Count mode, the counterfeit detection is deactivated and all types of paper can be counted that can be processed by the
CCE 3080 in terms of size and paper thickness. There is no value determination, only an indication of the number of counted pieces.
Functions
Using the functions below, you can take advantage of additional options to further customise money processing with the CCE
3080 to suit your requirements.
Report Function (Key REP)
The Report function allows you to view the detailed contents of a mixed banknote stack after counting. Press the REP key to get
the number of denominations counted with the totals per denomination and the total sum of the currency counted. Press REP
again to get the display of the serial numbers of the banknotes read out, if this readout has been activated.
Print Function (Key PRT)
For accounting purposes, the CCE 3080 offers you the option of printing out the counting result with the counted values, the
individual totals and the grand total via an optional printer. Please note that we cannot guarantee the function for third-party
printers and do not offer any support there. Press the PRINT button to transfer the data.
