INSTRUCTION MANUAL VOSS.FARMING FENCE MANAGER FM20 WIFI
If an alarm is triggered on the Fence Manager, it is displayed as follows:
∙
The information that indicates the error flashes on the display.
∙
The normally open contact of the external alarm closes
∙
If activated (see Section 8.2), an audible alarm is triggered
The alarm remains active until it is acknowledged or cancelled by the user.
1. Briefly press any button on the Fence Manager to deactivate the audible alarm and open the
normally open contact.
2. Briefly press the Information button to clear the displayed error (flashing error segments).
The Fence Manager updates the information.

Once the error has been remedied, the error segment stops flashing, the audible alarm
stops and the normally open contact is opened again.

If the Fence Manager still detects an error, the alarm will be reactivated.

GENERATING A NEW MAC ADDRESS

The MAC address and security PIN are unique codes for the specific VOSS.farming Fence Manager
FM 20 WiFi. They enable the device to connect with the cloud application and therefore with the
mobile application and web browser. The current MAC address and PIN must be known in order
to enable this function (the details of the factory settings are found behind the backup battery
on the rear of the device).

This function cannot be undone. The change in MAC address will be carried out
once it has been confirmed and all devices will be switched off.

This function is used in particular if the Fence Manager FM20 WiFi is bought by another user.
Changing the MAC address ensures that all previously connected devices are disconnected
from the gateway.
1. Press and hold the Menu button in the overview window or the detail window for more than one
second to open the menu.
2. Select the
Advanced
briefly pressing the Enter button.
3. To generate a new MAC address, select the
menu item using the arrow buttons and confirm
new MAC
the selection by briefly pressing the Enter button.
A window opens prompting you to enter the PIN (Fig. 13).
4. Use the arrow keys and briefly press Enter to select the position
of the digit you wish to change.
5. To change the digit, use the arrow keys and then confirm the
change by briefly pressing the Enter key.
6. Then use the arrow keys to navigate to
PIN and briefly press the Enter key.
