Use
Charging the battery pack
Push the battery pack completely to the stop on the sliding seat (2).
The operating indicator (3) flashes.
Note: To have the charge level displayed on Li-ion battery packs, first take the
battery pack out of the charger and then press the button on the battery pack.
Once the battery pack is fully charged, the operation indicator (3) is constantly
lit.
Conservation charge
Once the charging process has finished, the battery charger automatically swit-
ches to conservation mode. The battery pack can remain in the battery charger
and is therefore always ready for use.
Fault
• Warning indicator (4) is constantly lit
• Battery pack is not charging. Temperature too high / too low. If the tempe-
rature of the battery pack is between 0° C and 50° C, the charging process
begins automatically.
Warning indicator (4) flashing
• Battery pack is faulty. Immediately remove the battery pack from the char-
ger.
• Battery pack was not properly pushed onto the sliding seat (2). See chapter
7.1.
Repairs
Repairs to the charger may only be carried out by trained electricians!
If the appliance's power cable is damaged, the manufacturer or a similarly qua-
lified individual must replace it in order to prevent any hazards.
