tions, respiratory diseases. Do not let dust enter the body. Observe the rele-
vant guidelines and national regulations for your material, staff, application
and place of application (e.g. occupational health and safety regulations, dis-
posal). Collect the particles generated at the source, avoid deposits in the sur-
rounding area. Use suitable accessories for special work. In this way, fewer
particles enter the environment in an uncontrolled manner. Use a suitable
extraction unit. Reduce dust exposure with the following measures:
- do not direct the escaping particles and the exhaust air stream at yourself or
nearby persons or on dust deposits,
- use an extraction unit and/or air purifiers,
- ensure good ventilation of the workplace and keep clean using a vacuum
cleaner. Sweeping or blowing stirs up dust.
- Vacuum or wash the protective clothing. Do not blow, beat or brush.
Observe the valid regulations in your country for the materials you are working
with. Do not try to saw extremely small parts. Clamp the part well. Do not,
under any circumstance, support the part using your hand or foot.
Use only sharp, undamaged saw blades. Do not use saw blades that are cra-
cked or ones whose form has changed.
Only use the machine with the limit stop fitted. The limit stop must be secure
ly place on the part when sawing.
Always hold the machine with both hands on the hand grips provided, take up
a secure position and concentrate while working.
Risk of injury due to sharp saw blade. Do not try to grab the moving saw bla-
de! Only remove chips or the like when the machine is stopped.
Do not try to grab under the part during operation.
Risk of crushing during operation! Keep your fingers away from the area of the
saw blade tensioning appliance (1).
LED work light (2): do not look at the LED beam directly using optical instru-
ments.
