In the event of fire the following can be released: Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide; Hydrogen
fluoride (HF); Carbonyl fluoride; Risk of explosion when heated. Liquefied gas: Leaking liquid can cause
frostbite. The gas is heavier than air, it can accumulate in lower-lying rooms.
Advice for firefighters
Use self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear full protective suit. If possible, move endangered
containers out of the danger zone. Cool closed containers near the source of the fire with water.
Pressure increase, risk of bursting and explosion when heated. Fire residues and contaminated
extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Environmental protection measures
Avoid release to the environment. Suppress gases / vapors / mists with a water spray jet.
The refrigerant contained must be completely extracted before disposal of the product and then
recycled or disposed of in accordance with the applicable regulations. Do not carry out the relevant work
yourself. Make sure that appropriately certified specialists, using appropriate protective equipment,
carry out the necessary maintenance work and interventions in the refrigerant circuit, including
extraction before disposing of the device. The refrigerant may only be recycled or disposed of by
