Do not wear loose-fitting clothing,
jewellery or watches that can get caught
in moving parts. Do not use the product
barefoot or wearing open shoes.
Stay at least 10 metres away from power
lines.
Do not overreach. Always maintain a firm
footing and good balance. Only use the
product on a level, stable surface.
Be careful to avoid slipping or falling,
especially when walking backwards.
Remove sawn branches and logs from the
work area to reduce the risk of personal
injury.
Never run with the product. A soon as a
sawn branch starts to crack and fall, move
away and stay at a safe distance – risk of
personal injury. Watch out for falling
branches, they can bounce when they hit
the ground.
Switch off the product and remove the
battery if the chain jams. Remove the
blockage.
Hold the product firmly with both hands
and point the bar away from the body.
Check that the chain is not touching the
ground or an object when starting the
product.
Check that the power switch is in the OFF
position before putting in the battery. The
power switch and lock must not be in the
locked position.
Always check before use that all the screw
unions and other unions are properly
tightened, that all the safety devices are in
place and working, and that moving parts
do not jam.
Never dismantle or modify the safety
devices on the product.
Do not use the product if it is damaged,
or if all the safety devices are not in place
and working properly. Replace damaged
or worn parts.
Do not use the product in an explosive
environment, e.g. near flammable liquids,
gas or dust – risk of fire and/or explosion.
WARNING!
The product produces an electromagnetic
field when in use. This field can in some
circumstances affect active or passive medical
implants. If you have a medical implant
you should consult your doctor and/or the
manufacturer of the medical implant before
using the product to reduce the risk of serious
or fatal personal injury.
BATTERY
The battery can emit fumes when used
incorrectly or if damaged. Such fumes can
irritate the respiratory system. Breathe in
fresh air. Seek medical attention if the
complaint persists.
RISK OF FIRE AND / OR EXPLOSION
Never use damaged, defective or
deformed batteries. Never attempt to
open the battery or subject it to knock and
blows.
Never charge the battery near acid and/or
flammable gas or other substances.
Do not expose batteries to heat or naked
flames.
Do not charge the battery at temperatures
below 10°C or above 40°C, this can
damage the battery.
Do not expose the battery to high
temperatures or strong sunlight for long
periods.
The battery will get hot during long
periods of use. Allow it to cool before
charging.
Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
The battery must be packed in a plastic
bag or box, or the battery terminals
sealed, before transport or storage and
before waste disposal of the battery.
