of children.
During periods when the SP is not used, we recommend to clean, dry and store the ladder.
Don't use the ladder for any other but intended purpose.
Any persons suffering from a limited mobility and small children may use the ladder only being ac-
companied by other people without any physical handicap.
STEP 1: ADJUST THE LENGTH OF THE DIRECT LEGS AND ASSEMBLE THE LEGS
The access ladder is manufactured for above-ground swimming pools, having the maximum height of a
wall of 23 cm, and adjusted in such a manner that it should be possible to use it also in embedded swim-
ming pools. If your SP is built as an above-ground swimming pool, then apply Step 2.
ADJUSTMENT OF THE LADDER FOR EMBEDDED SWIMMING POOLS
For the sake of safety, both the entry side and exit side of the ladder must have the same inclination with
respect to the horizontal plane. Therefore, according to the location of the ladder adjust the length of the
divided legs [2] so that the ladder stand upright. When determining the length A (Abb. C-1) it is necessary
to count on the height of the arch [1] (cca 125 mm). Measure and mark the place of cutting B. Better
measure twice before you cut off the legs!
At the place B cut off the protruding part of the legs with a metal saw. In the distance of 20 mm from
the cut off ends drill a hole, having the diameter of 8,6 mm (max. 9mm), at the same level as the other
openings in the legs
STEP 2: SET UP THE DIVIDED LEGS AND ARCHES
The arches [1] push fi rmly into both divided legs [2] so that the openings in the arch were aligned with the
openings in the legs (Abb. C-2). Screw the joints together by means of the screws [11] and nuts [12].
STEP 3: AFFIX THE PLASTIC STEPS TO THE LEGS
NOTE: Proceed from the bottom ends of the legs upwards. Take care to affi x the steps to the legs in the
same manner. Once assembled it shall not be possible to dismantle the steps without causing any dam-
age to them. The legs are symmetrical, however, their lower bendings must look to each other in opposite
directions (Abb. C-4).
Attach the two-part sleeve [9] to Leg [2] or [4] at the pressed place (Abb. C-3) and fi x them with the rub-
ber circle [11 Push the step [8] onto the sleeve from above, until the locks on the sleeves get behind the
upper edge of the step opening.
Proceed step by step from the bottom ends of the legs upwards.
STEP 4: AFFIX THE HANDRAILS OF THE LADDER TO THE LEGS
Insert the handrails of the ladder [3] from above into the openings in the platform [7] and then insert the
narrowed ends of the legs [2] and [4] (Abb. C-5). Keep the openings in the handrails [2] aligned with the
openings in the legs [2] and [4] and with those in the platform [7].
Screw all parts together with the screws [10] and the tube nuts [13] in all corners of the platform [7]. Insert
the tube nuts from the outer side of the platform.
STEP 5: AFFIX THE LADDER TO THE REINFORCEMENT
Take the reinforcement of the ladder [6] and lay it down beside the arches of the legs [1] inwards the
ladder. Align the openings in the reinforcement [6] with the openings in the arches [1] (Abb. C-6).
After the openings have been centred, screw the parts by means of the tube nuts [13] and the screws [14].
• 43 •
Note: The tube nuts must be tightened safely but do not tighten them to excess, the parts of the ladder
might be damaged, if the tube nuts are tightened to exces. Now, the ladder is ready for use.
USE
The ladder is intended to be used in above-ground swimming pools and partially in embedded swim-
ming pools. The reinforcement serves for the stabilization of the branch construction of the ladder, which
branch is intended to be shortened.
WARNING: Insert the ladder into the swimming pool in such a manner that its reinforcement should be
outside the SP – see Fig.7. If you use the ladder the other way round, then the liner might be damaged.
For safety and practical reasons, do not leave the ladder in the SP without any reason. In the period when
you do not use the SP, clean the ladder, dry it off, and keep it out of reach of children.
WARNING: The ladder is not made from a stainless material and therefore it may get rusty due to the
chemical preparations treatment. Therefore check the ladder from time to time and in the event that you
observe some symptoms of chemical corrosion, paint it with a suitable anti-corrosive coat.
THE GUARANTEE DOES NOT APPLY TO POSSIBLE CORROSION OF STEEL TUBES!
In the event that you use oxygen chemistry for the water chemical treatment, then the corrosion of the
ladder proceeds faster. In such case it is necessary to treat that part of the ladder which shall be in con-
tact with the SP with an additional suitable coat.
