ZERO 1 CONTROL APPLET
Once the filter became active, it may occur that the over-
all playback level (volume) has decreased. This is an
intended behaviour, taking into account that program-
ming an increase at certain frequency ranges may also
limit the dynamic range, possibly having less headroom
available! Thus the uploading procedure includes an
according recalculation of the level of the target curve,
preserving the dynamic capabilities of the speaker. This
decreasing can then be compensated by increasing the
overall VOLUME by remote control.
Pre-programmed PRESET filters
In GRAPH. 14a/b-16a/b (partly on next page), 6 filters are
graphically displayed which have been pre-programmed
by the factory. The curves are pictured as well as the set
reference points that were used to create the curves. As
follows the according descriptions on their sonic effects:
GRAPH. 14a/b, DEEP TILT filters:
Suitable for recordings that sound overly bright, or for
background listening by boosting the bass range and
lowering the highs. DEEP TILT I and DEEP TILT II differ
in the magnitude of the described effect, please choose
by listening.
GRAPH. 15a/b, RELAXED filters:
Suitable for "smoothing" harsh sounding recordings
("carved" midrange, slightly lowered highs). RELAXED I
and RELAXED II differ in the magnitude of the described
effect, please choose by listening.
ZERO 1 CONTROL APPLET
Sobald eine Kurve aktiv wird, kann es vorkommen, dass
sich die Abhörlautstärke (VOLUME) verringert. Dies ist
beabsichtigt und bezieht mit ein, dass bei Überhöhungen
(d.h., beim Setzen von Kurvenwerten/Punkten im posi-
tiven Bereich) die dynamische Bandbreite der internen
Schaltungen limitiert wird, womit sich auch der nutz-
bare Lautstärkebereich verringert. Daher beeinhaltet die
Hochladeprozedur eine entsprechende Pegelanpassung.
Diese kann anschließend durch Erhöhen der Lautstärke
per Fernbedienung wieder ausgeglichen werden.
Vorprogrammierte PRESET Filter:
Die Abbildungen GRAPH. 14a/b-16a/b (teilweise auf der
nächsten Seite) zeigen EQ-Filterkurven, die werksseitig
programmiert wurden, inkl. den gesetzten Bezugs-
Punkten, um die Kurven zu "formen". Nachfolgend die
Beschreibung der Klang-Auswirkungen:
GRAPH. 14a/b, DEEP TILT Filter:
Geeignet für insgesamt sehr hell klingende Aufnahmen,
oder auch für Hintergrundmusik. Hebt den Bassbereich
an und nimmt den Hochton leicht zurück. DEEP TILT I
und DEEP TILT II unterscheiden sich in der Stärke des
Effekts.
GRAPH. 15a/b, RELAXED Filter:
Geeignet bei "hart" klingenden Aufnahmen, durch
"Senke" im Mittelton und leicht zurück genommenen
Hochton. RELAXED I und RELAXED II unterscheiden
sich in der Stärke des Effekts.
