4. Maintenance

Clean the OP-X tube every day when you have finished working with
Prepamatic-2.
Go to MANUAL FUNCTIONS in the MAIN MENU.

Select CLEANING OP-X TUBE.

Follow the instructions on the screen.

Clean Prepamatic-2 with a damp cloth.

Clean all suspension and lubricant tubes.

− Go to MANUAL FUNCTIONS in the MAIN MENU.
− Select CLEANING OF ALL TUBES.
− Follow the instructions on the screen.
Clear the drainage ducts under the carrousel.

− Remove the plastic drain covers on the carrousel.
− Insert a brush or flat scraper into the hole and turn the
carrousel using the keypad controls  and .
− Carefully brush away any debris along the ducts and down the
drain.
− Finally, carefully flush the ducts with water.
Do not use alcohol, acetone or similar solvents
The cooling water should be checked after 8 hours use or at least
every week and refilled when necessary.
Remember to add Struers Additive for Cooling Fluid: One part of
Additive for 33 parts of water.
To check the concentration of additive, use a refractometer.
Concentration = Brix value. The concentration of additive should
always lie between 2.7 and 3.3 %. Add Struers Additive for Cooling
Fluid if the concentration is too low.
