CAUTION!
Unskilled use may lead to a damaged or malfunctioning press tool and
press device.
Therefore:
– Never handle the device contrary to the regulations
– Never carry or pull the device by the hose.
– Protect the hose from heat, oil, sharp edges and excessive weight-load.
– Prevent pinching and bending of the hoses.
– Do not paint over the hoses.
– Do not operate the device when it exhibits leaks and there is a risk of pressurised
fluid coming into contact with persons, open flames, heating devices, electrical
wiring, ground water, foods or other matters intended for human consumption.
CAUTION!
Wrong or worn hoses may lead to a damaged or malfunctioning press tool
and press device.
Therefore:
– Use only hoses, connectors and accessories that are designed for the operating
pressure of the press device.
– BURST PRESSURE or TEST PRESSURE do NOT EQUAL OPERATING
PRESSURE!
– Hydraulic hoses must be replaced after 1 year, even if no damage is visible.
Information!
Replace the hydraulic hose
– If any cracks, crushing points or kinks are visible on the outer layer
– If blister formation is visible
– If pressurised fluid is escaping
– If the hose connector is damaged
– If any discolouration of the outer layer is visible, e.g. due to the effects of solvents
– If the hydraulic hose is older than 1 year

CAUTION!
– This machine for pressing should exclusively be set up, adjusted and used by
adequately qualified and trained operators.
– Always wear impact-resistant eye protection when operating the machine. The
degree of protection required should be assessed for each use separately.
– Always wear a safety helmet when working overhead.
– In such case, the risks for other persons should also be assessed.
– Do not paint over the hoses.
– The operator and maintenance staff must be physically able to handle the size, the
mass and the performance of the machine.
– Hold the machine correctly: Be prepared to work against the usual or sudden
movements – work with both hands.
– Avoid direct contact with the machine tool during and after use as it will have
warmed up.
