The C061 controller is equipped with a safety device that detects a so-called
"first fault" as a result of the controller checking the hardware.
If the system is working properly, the LED on the controller will change from
green (standby mode) to yellow as soon as a button on the handheld transmit-
ter is pressed. If the LED changes to yellow without a button being pressed, a
"first fault" has been detected.
Nevertheless, the controller may also continue to work without problems after
a first fault occurs, i.e. when the LED lights up yellow. The product will remain
safe to use until the next scheduled service interval. The cause of the fault
must then be remedied during the next inspection.
The safest way to determine the cause of the problem is to disconnect one
cable at a time from the controller. When the LED changes back to green, you
have identified the defective element that needs replacement. If the LED re-
mains yellow after all the cables have been removed, the controller itself must
be replaced.
The LED is located on the controller and is visible from above when the
backrest is raised.
The controller is protected by an internal fuse.
Never replace a cable or motor when the controller is connected
to the mains and/or a function is being carried out!
1. Disconnect the controller from the mains and wait 5 seconds.
2. Replace/install the cable and/or motor.
3. Check all cable connections; the rubber O-rings must be present.
Install the cable and reattach it with suitable fastenings.
4. Connect the controller to the mains and carry out a function test.
5. Unused connections must be sealed with caps to ensure the in-
tended degree of electrical protection.

Preventive maintenance and servicing

To ensure the user's safety throughout the product's service life, we recom-
mend having the bed checked and serviced once per year. If the bed is used
