2.4 CONNECTION

We advise you to use a fixed stainless steel pipe for the connec-
tion. The appliance is delivered without this pipe. Consequently,
you will have to supply the pipe yourself.

2.4.1 Ceiling connection

Between the ceiling connector en de pipe you must have a mini-
mum distance of 5 cm. This is to garantee a convection stream.

2.5 AIR SUPPLY FOR COMBUSTION

Every form of combustion uses air. In the casae of a termally sea-
led room supplementary air supply is essential. One must at alle
times avoid creating under-pressure in the room.
If a cooking hood appears to be absolutely essential in a adjoi-
ning room, sufficient air supply will have to be provided to avoid
every form of under-pressure.
It is preferable to let the air supply come in from the stove or
otherwise as near to it as possible.
The combustion is automatically kept under control by bimetals.
This povides regular, consistant combustion.
Manual control is another possibility and, in is doing, the com-
bistan may be adjusted to possible increase ( position handle
fig. 5a ) or decrease the intensity of the fire ( position handle fig.
5b)

2.4 ANSCHLUSS

Wir empfehlen Ihnen, für den Anschluss ein Edelstahl oder 2mm
Stahl Rohr. Dieses Rohr ist nicht im Lieferumfang des Gerätes
enthalten

2.4.1 Deckenanschluss

Zwischen Decke und Zierblende sollte ein minimaler Abstand
von 5 cm eingehalten werden. Dies garantiert die Konvektions-
strömung.

2.5 VERBRENNUNGSLUFTZUFUHR

Jede Verbrennung braucht Luft. Im Falle eines thermisch abge-
schlossenen Zimmers, ist eine zusä�liche Luf�ufuhr notwen-
dig. Auf jeden Fall sollte man vermeiden einen Unterdruck zu
verursachen. Ein Unterdruck kann auch entstehen wenn eine
Dunstabzugshaube in einem angrenzenden Zimmer installiert
wurde. Um den Unterdruck zu vermeiden wird eine zusä�liche
Luf�ufuhr empfohlen. (Fensterkippschalter)
Die Luft wird durch eine Öffnung unter dem Kamin angezogen.
Sorgen Sie deswegen für genügend Frischluft, vorzugsweise nah
am Kamin, um Durchzug zu vermeiden. Ideal wäre es wenn
die Luft von unten, hinten oder der Seite des Kamins zugeführt
wird. Die Luft sollte aus einem belüfteten Schacht, einem belüf-
teten Raum oder von draußen kommen.
•Die Verbrennung wird automatisch durch Bimetalle gesteuert.
Diese sorgen für eine regelmäßige und konstante Verbrennung.
•Eine andere Möglichkeit ist die manuelle Reglung. Hierdurch
können Sie die Verbrennung regeln. Figur 5a = offen , Figur 5b =
geschlossen )
