5.7 Maintenance Kite Pro Multivision
5.7.1 Comfort pads
• Replace all 3 comfort pads when dirty or lost.
5.7.2 Face seal
• The face seal must be in full contact with the skin
around the face to give maximum protection. Over
time the face seal will lose its elasticity and
therefore it will not function adequately. In doubt
replace the face seal using the following
procedure:
• Remove the two big black screws on both sides
and remove welding helmet from headband.
• Remove one small screw on both sides, see
picture.
• Remove the face seal.
• Place a new face seal, turn the screws clockwise,
but do not over tighten.
• After that, the result should be as shown in the
picture.
• Warning: the cable for the Automatic darkening
lense must be on the inside and not stuck behind
the plastic strip of the face seal.
