OPERATION OF PSS PARALLEL SERIES SWITCH
START-UP
As soon as the PSS is powered, the green and red LED will switch-on for 2 seconds. The green LED will then start slowly
flashing, indicating the system is in stand-by (power supply disconnected), while the red LED will remain off.
ENABLING
The PSS automatically enables (thruster power supply connected) when a TCD control present on the line is enabled.
When enabled, the green LED will remain permanently on.
DISABLING
Disabling, with PSS enabled, is had when disabling a TCD control or when the mushroom button on the TSC (if installed),
is pressed. In this case, once disabled, the green LED will start flashing at low frequency (thruster power supply
disconnected).
