To dispense boiling water when the child safety lock is enabled, double-tap the safety
button twice in quick succession. The red LEDs start to flash and boiling water can be
dispensed by turning the lever. After 3 seconds without operation, the LEDs light up
continuously and the tap is locked again.

Menu

The undersink unit has a touch screen which can be used to set and read the operating
parameters. By tapping on the three dashes in the top left-hand corner, you can access
the main menu. The following settings can be carried out in the menu:
Safety button
'General Settings'
Language – Select the language used in the menu.
Date & Time – Set the current date and time.
'System Settings'
The steps that are necessary when using the unit for the first time can be viewed again
for maintenance purposes.
Filter Settings – Filter Flush, Tank Flush, Filter Reset, Filter Life
Filter Flush: place the end of the hose located at the filter in a collecting container and
open the isolating valve on the hose before starting to flush the filter.
Filter Reset: resets the filter consumption data.
Temperature Setting – Set the water temperatures.
Boiling Calibration – The unit determines the boiling point, which depends on the
atmospheric pressure at the installation location, and adjusts accordingly.
Booster – Settings for operation of an additional instantaneous water heater to
preheat the hot water. A technical modification has to be made to the unit in order to
connect up a booster (not included in the CLAGE-range).
Dispense Time – Setting the tap duration when using the filling function.
Light sensor – The light sensor on the Classic tap can be calibrated for the light
conditions at the installation location. This is necessary to ensure that the Sleep mode
energy-saving function operates correctly. Shield the tap from direct sunlight during
calibration.
Advanced Options – To optimise the operation of the appliance additional settings can
be made here, depending on the hot water temperature.
• Cavitation protection through regular pulses: The hot water pump is moved cyclical-
ly to prevent bubbles from forming.
• Cavitation protection through pre-pulse: Before each hot water tapping, the pump is
moved briefly to flush out bubbles. This causes a time delay of 150 ms.
• Pulse package control: Tolerances for temperature deviations are reduced.
• Touch-Free Sensor Heating: Activates the internal heating of the Touch-Free fitting
to prevent sensor fogging.
Reset – Deactivates the password function.
'Safety & Security'
Boiling Safety – An additional safety button can be enabled at all taps to prevent
boiling water being dispensed accidentally. In addition, scald protection can be
activated for the Classic and Classic Plus so that, for example, children cannot tap
boiling water.
Password – A user password can optionally be set to lock the 'Settings' menu and pre-
vent unauthorised persons from altering the settings. The password should be 4 digits
long.
